Vote Trevor Chaulk for CKCA Board of Directors 2025–2028

Fresh perspective. Proven leadership. Deep industry roots.

"We’re not just building boxes. We’re building the future."

Meet Trevor

Trevor Chaulk is the President of Chaulk Woodworking Inc., a company that was built from the ground up after relocating from Toronto to rural Haliburton County. His technical roots in the tool and die trade gave him an early edge in troubleshooting, prototyping, and innovation — skills he brought into the cabinetmaking world.

Trevor joined the CKCA in 2015 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2022. His commitment to excellence, mentorship, and future-forward thinking makes him an ideal candidate for re-election.

"The CKCA changed the way we operate our shop. Now I want to continue shaping the future of our industry."

What CKCA Means to Me

For Trevor, the CKCA has been more than a professional association. It’s been a community of support, innovation, and shared vision. Through the CKCA, Trevor has found mentorship, friendships, and insights that transformed the efficiency and philosophy behind his business.

Trevor’s Vision for the Industry

  • Looking Ahead: CKCA should continue to plan 6 to 12 months ahead - not just reacting.

  • Workforce Development: We must reach into schools, colleges, and trade programs to show young people what’s possible.

  • Government Advocacy: We need continued lobbying and education efforts to get the attention and support this industry deserves.

  • Collaboration Over Competition: A stronger CKCA means a stronger industry.

  • Support for Rural & Small Shops: Every shop, big or small, deserves a voice.

"We’re not just building boxes, we’re focused as an association of industry leaders on employee growth, engagement, attraction and the very future of our industry."

Trevor’s Goals for the Next Term

  • Grow into Vice President and President roles on the CKCA Board

  • Keep advocacy momentum strong on China trade/US tariff issues

  • Formalize mentorship opportunities within CKCA

  • Increase educational partnerships with Canadian colleges

  • Promote Canadian-made quality and rural shop innovation
